Back To The Business Of Sport Shows

by: Mark Romanack

The whole staff at Fishing 411 TV is happy to announce that our team will once again be attending four popular consumer sport shows during the winter of 2022. The last time we had the pleasure of attending a consumer sport show was February of 2019 at the Outdoorama show in Novi, Michigan. Soon afterwards, Covid 19 forced a shutdown of just about all public events.

Sport shows are back and so are Mark and Jake’s popular fishing seminars. Mark, Jake and the whole Fishing 411 Team will be on hand at four different sport shows this winter to conduct seminars, talk fishing and get back to the business of teaching fishing.

Our 2022 sport show attendance schedule will kick off in January at the Ultimate Fishing Show, at the Suburban Collections Showplace in Novi, Michigan from January 6-9, 2022. This show has become one of Michigan’s largest consumer sport shows with a heavy emphasis on fishing for walleye, bass, musky, salmon and panfish. This show is also very heavy in ice fishing gear and information.

Our second show will be February 17-20 at the Greater Niagara Fishing Expo in Niagara Falls, New York. This popular show has been expanded from three to four days in 2022. Seminars are the big draw at this show and both Jake and Mark will be on stage every day of the show.

Show number three for the Fishing 411 team will be the popular Outdoorama scheduled to be at the Suburban Collections Showplace in Novi, Michigan from February 24-27, 2022. This show features exhibits aimed at both hunters and fishermen and has a long history of attracting a wide variety of hunting and fishing outfitters, guides, lodges, charter captains and professional hunters.

In March the Fishing 411 Team travels to Grand Rapids, Michigan for the Ultimate Sport Show March 10-13. This is the oldest continuous running sport show in Michigan. People from all over the Great Lakes region consider this a “must attend” event.

THE FISHING 411 EXHIBIT

At each of these consumer sport shows the staff of Fishing 411 TV will be on hand at their impressive display that features a fully rigged fishing boat and product displays for Yakima Bait Company, Smooth Move Seats, Off Shore Tackle, Daiwa, Striker Brands, Cisco Fishing Systems, Lowrance Electronics and Fish Hawk Electronics.

Sport shows are back and so will the staff of Fishing 411 TV. The Fishing 411 TV display will feature a fully rigged fishing boat and will also be staffed by some of the most knowledgeable anglers in the Great Lakes region.

This display is the perfect place for anglers to gather and talk fishing with Mark, Jake, Mari and this year Jake’s wife Paige and our grandson Cadence will also be joining our team. In addition, pro staff members from Off Shore Tackle, Fish Hawk Electronics and Lowrance Electronics will also be working the booth.

DAILY SEMINARS

Both Mark and Jake are the key note speakers at each of these sport show events. Daily free seminars will be conducted on a host of fishing topics. To confirm times and seminar topics, consult the web pages for each individual event.

ULTIMATE WALLEYE CLINIC

Again this year Mark and Jake will be conducting the popular Ultimate Walleye Clinic at the Ultimate Fishing Show, the Ultimate Sport Show and the Greater Niagara Fishing Expo. This seminar takes place on the Saturday of each show. The Ultimate Walleye Clinic is an intensive multi-media presentation that lasts two hours and covers a wealth of topics aimed at helping anglers to become more successful walleye fishermen.

No fee is charged, but a voluntary donation is taken at each event to benefit Walleye for Wounded Heroes, one of Mark and Jake’s favorite charities. Advance registration is required to insure everyone gets a seat. This seminar fills up quickly, so reach out to our staff at mari@Fishing411.net or mark@Fishing411.net to reserve a place.

At the end of each seminar, Mark and Jake will provide door prizes graciously donated by their sponsors.

SUMMING IT UP

Our staff is looking forward to getting back to the business of attending consumer sport shows and sharing fishing information with others who love fishing as much as we do.
